Lighting Fireplace Pilot Light

How to light your pilot on vented gas logs:

Step 1: Remove logs to expose the pilot assembly

Step 2: Locate gas valve control knob

Step 3: Rotate gas valve control knob to pilot or "ign" position

Step 4: Depress and hold in gas valve control knob

Step 5: Listen for gas flow from the pilot assembly

Step 6: Ignite pilot with long lighter/match, and/or electronic ignition and CONTINUE TO HOLD IN gas valve control for at least 30 seconds

Step 7: Release gas valve control knob; if pilot does not stay lit repeat steps 2 - 6; if after several attempts pilot does not stay lit contact Bradbury's service department

Thank you for your help. This is the first time I was successful lighting the gas logs when my hubby was not around to light them.
